PeakPractice Disease Management
PeakPractice makes Disease Management easier than ever. The Protocol screen shows you a quick summary of your diagnosis, along with medications, recent lab tests and clinician orders. It makes suggestions based on the information entered in the patient chart. For example, if the master chart indicates that a patient has back pain, blood in urine, and nausea, the protocols screen would suggest kidney stones as a possible cause. Of course, you can still make the final diagnosis; the protocol is simply a reference you can use to aid you in your process. The Protocol Screen also allows you to give patients access to education information about your diagnosis. PeakPractice comes with a library of information for both you and your patients. The protocols screen shows a list of educational information related to your diagnosis, so that all you have to do to share this information with your patient, is check a box. It's that easy! Patients can then access this information from anywhere with the online patient portal. If sent electronically, the protocol screen allows you to send prescriptions and lab orders automatically. This reduces the chance of errors, and allows them to be tracked to ensure that lab tests are performed.
